Heads-Up for Healthier Brains
We often hear, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” Actually, this couldn’t be further from the truth. When it comes to brain health, it’s never too late to learn new things or to embrace new hobbies. How about studying a different language or taking on the ukulele?
The Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex can bring some answers to members of your local community group, place of worship, or service club. “Heads Up for Healthier Brains” is a presentation delivered by the Alzheimer Society to interested groups of any size.
The program provides an overview of how the brain functions, how brain activity connects to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and ways of keeping the brain active and healthy for life, through nutrition, physical exercise and cognitive activity.
There is no set fee for the presentation but a donation to the Society is requested in lieu.
